By 2028, ART LAB DCI envisions itself as a vibrant, influential cultural and educational centre that unites communities across New Brunswick through creativity, innovation, and intercultural collaboration. We aim to become a catalyst for artistic development, social inclusion, and community well-being — a place where creativity transforms lives and strengthens the cultural landscape of the province.
ART LAB DCI is committed to building meaningful connections between individuals, families, and communities. We create opportunities for people from different cultural, social, and generational backgrounds to come together through shared creative experiences.
We aim to create exceptional opportunities for children, youth, and adults to explore and grow their creative abilities through vocal arts, dance, theatre, stage performance, and visual arts. Our goal is to support over 200 participants every year through structured programs, personal mentorship, and media-supported talent development. We envision ART LAB DCI as a place where emerging artists discover their voice — and where creativity becomes a pathway to confidence, self-expression, and future success. We believe creative spaces shape strong, confident, and socially engaged young people. ART LAB DCI leads youth-focused programs that nurture leadership, teamwork, public speaking, empathy, and community involvement. Through creative action, charitable projects, volunteerism, and performance opportunities, we empower young leaders who are ready to contribute to a vibrant and compassionate society.
Each year, ART LAB DCI hosts over 60 workshops, masterclasses, and creative labs, while sustaining at least five active program streams — language programs (English, Ukrainian, French), theatre, vocal arts, dance, and communication.
Our goal is to build a learning environment that inspires curiosity, nurtures imagination, and empowers lifelong learners.
We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring that every young person has access to arts education. All children and youth participate free of charge, and we intentionally design an environment where participants with special needs feel supported and included. With the help of grants, sponsors, and community partners, we ensure that at least 30% of our participants come from low-income families, creating real, measurable social impact. ART LAB DCI celebrates the beauty of diversity. Through intercultural festivals, creative workshops, and community events, we bring together families from many cultural backgrounds — strengthening dialogue, friendship, and understanding. A special focus is placed on promoting Ukrainian cultural heritage, while building welcoming spaces for newcomers to feel at home, share their traditions, and participate actively in community life.
Together, these objectives position ART LAB DCI as:
Our vision is bold, our mission is meaningful, and our impact is growing — one creative journey at a time. ART LAB DCI programs are designed for a wide range of age groups, ensuring that every participant — from preschool children to adults — can find an inspiring and accessible place to learn, create, and grow.
Format: Play-based sessions & parent-child classes
Our youngest learners explore the world of languages, music, movement, and imagination through storytelling, rhythm games, creative play, and simple art activities. These gentle sessions help children develop early communication skills, confidence, coordination, and curiosity — all in a supportive environment where parents can join and connect with their child.
Format: Weekly group lessons
Children in this age group participate in structured programs that combine language learning, acting, singing, dance, and creative teamwork. Students take part in mini-performances, group projects, seasonal events, and cultural activities. The focus is on developing foundational artistic and social skills, building confidence, and encouraging self-expression.
Format: Advanced courses & performance-based programs
Teens dive deeper into artistic disciplines with courses in vocal performance, theatre, stage movement, media, communication, and leadership. They prepare for stage performances, competitions, festivals, and collaborative projects — including the opportunity to create their own productions. Programs foster discipline, creativity, public speaking, teamwork, and professional mindset.
Format: Flexible courses for busy schedules
Adult learners can join language classes, choir, vocal lessons, and dance sessions designed as creative, enjoyable, and growth-oriented experiences. Whether someone wants to improve their English, reconnect with cultural traditions, join a singing group, or explore dance as a hobby — ART LAB DCI provides a welcoming, stress-free environment for personal development and community connection.
